Welcome to the official website of the Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College student’s Gymkhana.

The Seth G. S. Medical College Gymkhana was founded in 1935. Over the years the Gymkhana has steadily expanded its wings and today has a foundry of 16 departments to cater to the varied needs of the multi-talented students of the Seth G.S. Medical College. The Gymkhana, as most of the alumni would fondly recall, has been the epicenter of the student activities in the college. The motto of the twin institutes is “NON SIBI SED OMNIBUS” which translates to “NOT FOR SELF, BUT FOR ALL”. In keeping up with the motto, the Gymkhana provides the student, all the facilities for the over-all development of their extra-curricular abilities. The Gymkhana also has a canteen, where food is served at subsidized rates. The Gymkhana is located right in the heart of the college building. The facilities in the Boys’ Common room, the Ladies Common Room, the Gymnasium are provided by the Gymkhana. It maintains and regularly updates the facilities of the badminton court, the tennis court, the basketball court and the badminton court.

Besides these the Gymkhana also sends college teams to the other invitational events such as sports competitions and festivals. The Gymkhana also runs a computer facility where students can access the internet and provides printing and photocoping facilities also.
